HERKIMER - Mrs. Doreen A. Jones died peacefully at her home at 105 Protection Avenue in Herkimer, where she has been a resident for the past seven years. She was surrounded with love of family, friends and the support and assurance of Hospice & Palliative Care. She loved all her friends at the Galinsky Apartments.
Born July 1, 1947 in Trenton, NJ and died on August 12th, 2015 at age 68 in Herkimer, NY. Daughter to the late John & Louise (Jackson) Crafton and educated in Jamaica, Queens. Doreen is the widow of Irvin (died May, 2006). She deeply loved her family, children, Kevin Crafton (Rebecca), Jackqline Barnhill and Viola Jones. She was a dietician at one time at Manhattan State Hospital. Additional survivors are her sister, a cousin Darlene, her ten grandchildren and several great - grandchildren. Services will be held at The Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 North Washington Street, Herkimer, NY on Tuesday August 18, 2015 with calling from 1 until 2 PM, concluding with 2PM prayer.
Her funeral arrangements have been planned with The Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 North Washington Street in Herkimer (F.K.A Holleran Funeral Parlor). Funeral Directors Harry J. & Kevin E. Enea (315) 866-1011. Those needing a ride to the service are encouraged to contact the funeral home.
