Donald R. Jacob

ROME – Mr. Donald Jacob, 70, a longtime resident of the Rome area, passed away, August 31, 2023, at the home of his daughter, in Herkimer, New York.

He was born on June 28, 1953, in Massena, New York, a son to the late Earl Jacob and Jean (Robar) Jacob. He was an avid pool player and loved to ride his motorcycle and additional hobbies included building model cars, woodworking, and watching NASCAR races. He retired from Brian’s Body Service, in Rome and was well known in his field.

Survivors include his daughters, Anna Johnson (Brian), of New York and April Myers (Chuck), of North Carolina; his Grandchildren, Kyle and Jacob Tuzzolino, NY, Ceara Doolen, NC and Dean Myers, NC; the mother of Don’s Children, Sandra Bryan; his brothers, Tommy Jacob (Judy), FL, Mike Jacob (JoAnn), AL and Scott Jacob.

He was predeceased by his parents and sister, “Sissy” Kellison (Lucky), of Massena.
