LITTLE FALLS - Mr. Donald J. "Don" Rice, Sr., a longtime Little Falls resident, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at the Little Falls Hospital. Don served our country with the United States Army, Korean War 7th Infantry Division at the Chosen Reservoir.
He is survived by his four sons and their respective families and was predeceased by his wife and son. He worked the majority of his life at Burrows Paper Corporation and worked for a while at Feldmeier as well. He spent his retired years relaxing with his animals and family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Harry and Kevin Enea, Funeral Directors. There will be a private funeral home service and a graveside military service at Rural Park Cemetery in Inghams Mills in the spring. In lieu of flowers please consider sending a donation to the Herkimer County Humane Society in memory of Donald J. Rice, Sr.
