Denise Mcgraw

Ilion: Denise Chesebrough McGraw, 59, of the Mohawk Valley Health Care Center, Ilion, passed away peacefully, Friday July 20, 2012, in Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare Center, New Hartford, following a long illness.



She was born on June 15, 1953, in Ilion, the daughter of the late David and Barbara Foppes Chesebrough and was a graduate of Ilion High School. Denise had been a lifelong resident of Ilion.



Denise is survived by her loving children, Matthew McGraw of Vermont and Heather McGraw of Ft. Edward, NY; her brother, David Chesebrough and his wife, Diane of Virginia; her sisters, Deb Egland and her husband, Ray of Ilion and Barbara Kotary and her husband, Jeff of Little Falls; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughters, Sara McGraw and Stephanie McGraw.



Denise's graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 26, 2012 in Mohawk Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her daughters. In keeping her wishes, there will be no visitation.
