HERKIMER – David J. Montana, Sr., of Herkimer, passed away on August 4, 2023, at home.
He was born on October 25, 1969, in the City of Little Falls, NY, the son of Lou Sudakow (stepfather) and Lorraine (Hunt) Sudakow . David married his wife, Joann, on July 18, 1998.
Surviving family members include his wife, Joann; his daughter, Dakota Montana Davis (spouse, Cody Davis); his stepdaughters, Melissa Knoblauch, Sheree Reinhart and Brandy Vogel; his son-in-law, Brian Knoblauch; and one brother Jeffrey Montana. David also leaves behind three brothers-in-law; his four sisters-in- law; his several grandchildren; his three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
David was predeceased by his mother Lorraine, his son, David James Montana, Jr. ; and his sibling, Todd Montana
Calling hours will be held 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon, on August 16, 2023, at the Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, Ilion, NY (Town of Frankfort). A Funeral Service will be held at 12 noon, after the calling hours.
David’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Enea, Ciaccia & Applegate Funeral Directors.
