MOHAWK – David R. Gay, (63 years old), of Church Street in Mohawk, New York, passed away suddenly on April 28th, 2025, at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, New York.
He was born on May 29th, 1961, in Ilion, New York, a son of the late Gerald R. and Shirley A. (Hilts) Gay. He attended and graduated from local schools and went on to serve professionally as a nurse and at one time at Little Falls Hospital.
His immediate family survives, his sister, Deborah Call, and his brothers and sisters-in-law, Chris Gay (Jennifer) and Gerald Gay (Michelle) as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
His arrangements have been entrusted to The Enea, Ciaccia, & Applegate Funeral Directors. There are no services planned at this time.
