David Bahr

David James Bahr 69 a resident of the Folts Home in Herkimer since October, formerly of 39 Elm Street Dolgeville, died Saturday December 13, 2014 at Folts Home.
David was born in Little Falls, on October 2, 1945 the son of the late Arthur E. and Helen C. (Pross) Bahr and was a graduate of Dolgeville High School.
"Boomer" as he was known by friends was employed by the Daniel Green Company until the company relocated to Maine.
David was a very happy guy with a big heart who had many friends and loved everyone. He also loved the great outdoors and working in it. He especially loved spending time with his friend Dick Ortlieb and his family at their camp. He was a member of the Dolgeville Fire Department, the Dolgeville Fireman's Exempt and Benevolent Association & the Dolgeville Rod and Gun Club.
He is survived by his brothers and their wives Arthur and Barbara Bahr of Long Boat Key, Fl., Richard and Linda Bahr of Russell, OK, his Sisters Barbara and her husband Ronald Raymer of New York Mills, NY, JoAnn Rumrill of Okmulgee, OK, Janice Johnson of Syracuse, NY, 9 Nieces and Nephews and 15 Great Nieces and Nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Yvonne M. Connor.
Graveside services will be held in the Spring in the Dolgeville Cemetery. There are No Calling hours.
