Darlene Tompson

Darlene G. Tompson, 56, of 139 Baum Road, St. Johnsville, passed away unexpectedly on Friday August 17, 2007 at her home. She was born October 23, 1950 in Little Falls the daughter of the late Leland & Grace (Lamphere) Sanders and was a graduate of Fort Plain High School. She was married to Richard Tompson on June 5, 1999 in St. Johnsville. Survivors include her husband Richard, two daughters, Bobbie Jo Rowland and husband Mark of Kannapolis, NC, and Shannon Welch and husband Richard Gannon of Albion, NY, two sons, Bryn Trumbull and wife Myra of Fort Plain, and Joshua Welch and wife Jennifer of Fort Plain, five grandchildren, Brandon, Austin, and Robert Trumbull, and Clayton & Dustin Welch, four sisters, Sherry Kneaskern and husband William of Florida, Lorraine Pawlings and husband Robert of Florida, Leslie Siegle and husband Charles of Pennsylvania and Holly Wentworth and husband Michael of Ilion, her step-children Jessica & James Tompson both of Schenectady, her step-mother, Muriel Sanders of Herkimer, several step-brothers & sisters, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was pre-deceased by a son Shawn Trumbull. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 22, 2007 at 11:00 am from the Stone Arabia Church, Stone, Arabia, NY. Burial will be in West St. Johnsville Cemetery, St. Johnsville, NY. Friends and relatives may call at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville, NY on Tuesday August 21, 2007 from 5-8 pm.
