TOWN OF COLUMBIA - Mrs. Darlene M. Russell, age 54, of Spohn Road, passed away suddenly on Friday September 4, 2015 at her home with her family there.
Born in Ilion, NY on April 14, 1961, daughter to the late Joseph and Eleanor Entwistle. She went on to attend Ilion, NY schools. She was a graduate of Ilion High School and also attended nursing school. Her marriage to Larry E. Russell, Jr. took place August 8, 1981 in the town of Columbia. She worked at Folts Homes and Valley Health Services in Herkimer as an Licensed Practical Nurse. She is survived by her husband Larry, a son Larry E., III and wife Nicole, a daughter Heather and her husband Bill, four grandchildren, Chloe, Madison, Larry and Bella, her sisters, Donna Loomis and Sharon Entwistle, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends Cindy and Dave Lowe.
Funeral service will be held Thursday September 10, 2015 at 10:00 AM from The Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, (Town of Frankfort), Ilion, NY. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Herkimer. Calling hour at the funeral home prior to the service on Thursday 9 until 10:00 AM.
