Daniel John Roche, Sr.

UTICA-ILION – Daniel John Roche, Sr., 65, of London Towers, Ilion and formerly of Utica, New York, passed away peacefully, on the afternoon of April 25, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. His brief illness was that of a two year battle with cancer.

He was born in October of 1958, a son of the late Andrew John and Ann (Smith) Roche. He worked as a painter / contractor, in Brooklyn, New York and lastly with Lincoln Paint, Utica.

Daniel is survived by his six children, Jenny, Daniel, Jr., Jonathan, Micheal, Patricia and his pride and joy, Heaven Neveah; and his three grandchildren, Gabie, Ian and Bryce.

Viewing for family and friends is on Friday, April 26, 2024 (TODAY), from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., at the Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, Ilion and a Catholic Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 p.m., at the funeral home chapel. Then, cremation shall take place.

Daniel’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Enea, Ciaccia & Applegate Funeral Directors (315-894-8000).
