FRANKFORT – Cynthia A. “Cindy” (Polley) Maneen, age 58, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, September 22, 2024, in the privacy and comfort of her home. At the time of her passing she was surrounded by the love and support of her devoted family by her side.
Born on February 15, 1966, Cindy was the daughter of the late Earl and Theresa (Schilingo) Polley, whom she is now reunited with in Heaven. Cindy was a lifelong area resident, growing up and attending local schools. On December 28, 1998, she was blessed to wed Thomas Maneen and together they have shared over twenty-five years of marriage.
Cindy was always a very kind and caring soul. She was a great listener and always lent a shoulder to cry on. She was a wonderful, loving and selfless wife and mother. She was a role model, not only to her own children, but to her children’s friends as well. She touched many lives in a positive light.
She loved spending time with her family and friends, just laughing and talking together. She was a true warrior throughout her illness and stayed positive; she never quit on taking care of her family. She was a devoted wife and mother, staying home through the years to take care of her children.
Cindy truly enjoyed the simple things in life and was happiest when spending time outside, with a glass of wine by a fireside, talking to her family and friends. She frequented estate sales with her husband and sister, Linda.
Cindy shared a special bond with Ryan Parks, her son, Nick’s, girlfriend and they loved to laugh together. She also held a special place in her heart for her son, Tommy’s, significant other, Jordan Carter. Cindy truly considered both Ryan and Jordan to be her children.
Cindy’s strength will live on through her children and grandchildren and she will forever hold a place in their hearts. We love you…
Cindy is survived by her loving husband, Tom; her three children, Whitny Arana and her husband, Alexon, Thomas Maneen and Jordan Carter and Nicholas Maneen and Ryan Parks; and her grandchildren, Ellie and Aiden; all of whom were Cindy’s reason for living and to keep going every day.
She also leaves her sister and best friend, Linda (Polley) Zellwager and her daughter, Amber; her brother, Earl J. Polley and his wife, Jane, and their children, Jonathon and Brittnay; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Elizabeth and Thomas Maneen; her brother-in-law, Patrick Maneen and his children, Christopher and Ava; her brother-in-law, Shawn Maneen and his wife, Carrie, and their children, Michael and Kayla; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends, too numerous to mention.
Family and friends are invited to attend Cindy’s Funeral Mass on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 10:30AM at Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church in Frankfort. The family will receive visitors at the conclusion of Mass. Procession will then follow to Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Frankfort, where Cindy will be laid to rest in the Polley family lot.
