Little Falls: Mrs. Clara Antoinetta (Peters) Pietrandrea, 89, of Little Falls, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2010 in Valley Health Services, Herkimer. Clara was born on September 30, 1920 in Swampscott, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late Alio and Maria (Marocco) Spelta. On August 31, 1940, she married Louis Dominick Pietrandrea in St. Joseph?s Church, Little Falls. Louis passed away on June 27, 1982. Clara is survived by her son: Mayor Robert J. Peters and his wife Linda of Little Falls; grandchildren: Robert J. Peters, Jr. of Little Falls, Jeffrey L. Peters and his wife Dorothy of Mohawk, Michael Peters of White Plains, and Jay Peters and his wife Stephanie of Knightdale, NC; step-grandchildren: Amie Miller Kirschner and her husband Keith of Monroe, NY, Monica L. Miller of Little Falls, and Russell W. Miller and his wife Tonya also of Little Falls; nine great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law: Mary Spelta of Marblehead, MA; a nephew: Eugene Spelta and his wife Kathy of Swampscott, MA ; and a niece, Helen Terrenzetti Stephenson and her husband David of Placentia, CA. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Louis; a brother: Eugene Spelta, Sr.; and a sister-in-law: Pacifica Terrenzetti. Clara?s funeral will be private and held at the convenience of the family. She will be laid to rest in St. Mary?s Cemetery, town of Herkimer.
