Christine M. Cadle, age 77, of Little Falls, NY, passed away surrounded by family and friends on January 31, 2026. She was born on March 23, 1948, in New Rochelle, NY.
Christine dedicated her career to working for law firms throughout the Central New York area and also served many years as the Harbor Master for the City of Little Falls.
Christine will be lovingly remembered for her devotion to her family, friends, and many pets. In her spare time, she dedicated much of it to animals, reflecting her deep love for all creatures. She found great joy in the Adirondack Mountains, where she cherished time spent hiking among the natural beauty she so adored.
She is survived by her son, Brian Slink and daughter-in-law Sandra Slink (Canastota, NY); her grandchildren, Taylor Slink (Holland Patent, NY) and Cameron Slink (Groton, NY); as well as her siblings, Joan Forrester (Southport, NC), Sally Shallenberger (Pawcatuck, CT) and John Cadle (San Ramon, CA); several nieces and nephews whom she adored; longtime friend and companion Chuck Tracy (Little Falls, NY); and her beloved dogs, Coco and Rosie, along with her cat Riley.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 3:00-5:00pm at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street, Little Falls, NY 13265, with a celebration of life to follow at the Elks Lodge, 2 West Gansevoort Street, Little Falls, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Christine's memory may be made to The Herkimer County Humane Society, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Christine's warmth, kindness, and love of the outdoors will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was absolutely adored by everyone in the community, and her profound love for animals touched countless hearts. Her compassionate spirit and generous nature left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
