Christina H. Kalynycz

Christina H. Kalynycz, age 95, of Herkimer, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Foltsbrook Nursing Home.

Christina was born on June 30, 1930, in Herkimer, New York, daughter of the late Peter and Irene Andricos (Sophianopoulos). Christina attended Herkimer High School. She then went on to start her career as a dance instructor at ChrisEleanor School of Dance, inspiring countless students with her passion for the art.

Christina was preceded in death by her parents as well as her beloved husband Walter Kalynycz in 2021. Christina is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Kalynycz, and son, Walter "Dan" Kalynycz as well as her two grandchildren and a great grandchild who she loved dearly. 

In keeping with Christinas wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 North Washington Street, Herkimer, NY 13350.
