Charles Stevenson

Mr. Charles H. Stevenson 91 of 115 Stone Road Town of Oppenheim died Today Monday January 10, 2005 at his residence of natural causes. He was born on December 16, 1913 in Ft. Lee, New Jersey the son of Charles and Hattie (Winters) Stevenson and was educated in schools there. His marriage to the former Florence May Bishop took place on September 6, 1986 in the Salisbury Center Methodist Church. Mrs. Stevenson predeceased him on November 5, 1993. Charles was employed by the Ford Motor Company as a quality control inspector, retiring from there in 1971. He was a Committee member of the Boy Scouts of America in Closter, New Jersey and while residing in this area he served as President of the Oppenheim Senior Citizens, and also served on its? Board of Directors. He is survived by A Son Roy Stevenson of New Mexico, his Daughters Mary Anne Stone of Indian Lakes Estates, Fla. And Joan Howell of South Carolina, 11 Grandchildren, several great Grandchildren. A Son John Stevenson predeceased him. Graveside funeral services will be held at the convenice of the family in the Spring in the Salisbury Rural Cemetery. There are No calling hours. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Roberts ?
