Charles Piscione

Charles J. Piscione, 77, a lifelong Herkimer resident, beloved husband of Margaret (Rando) Piscione, passed away peacefully on Sat. evening, November 11, 2006 in Valley Health Services, Herkimer. Charles was last employed by Remington Arms, Ilion and proudly served his country with the U.S. Army from Feb 6, 1950 until Feb. 5, 1953. He was of the Catholic Faith and a member of the VFW Michael S. Pliseck Post #4915 in Herkimer and the American Legion. Survivors include his wife: Margaret of Herkimer; a daughter: Ann Whitney of Little Falls; two grandchildren: Donna Whitney of Fairfield and Richard Whitney, Jr., of Saratoga; several step brothers and sisters; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predecased by his sister: Frances Rando. In respecting Mr. Piscione's wishes there are no public calling hours. Funeral service will be private and at the convenience of the family with interment in Mt. View Memorial Gardens, town of Little Falls. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Holleran & Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer, (866-1011). The family requests memorial offerings be made to Valley Health Services, Herkimer, who treated Charles with wonderful care and professionalism.
