Charles Marriott

ILION – Charles E. Marriott, age 70, a longtime Ilion resident, passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 27, 2021, in the privacy of his home.

Born on April 23, 1951, Charles was the son of the late William J. and Elnora M. (Evans) Marriott. He graduated from the Richfield Springs Central School District before relocating to Ilion and beginning a thirty-eight-year career at Remington Arms.

Charles is survived by three children, including his daughter, Melissa Marriott and boyfriend, Joshua Hight, of Frankfort; his grandchildren, including Kayden, McKenna, Xavier, Kelsey and Tyler; his sister, Diann Tehan and husband, Howard, of Waterville; his aunts, Louise, Iva and Beverly; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Charles’ earthly remains will be laid to rest with his parents in Unadilla Forks Cemetery at the convenience of his family.
