Charles Augustus Francesco, Jr.

LITTLE FALLS – Mr. Charles Augustus Francesco, Jr., age 87, of 345 Gun Club Road in Little Falls, passed away on April 6, 2024 at his home, with his family by his side.
He spent his life, from childhood to retirement, as a dairy farmer. He was the son of the late Charles and Mattie (Lehman) Francesco. On September 12, 1959, in St. John The Baptist Church, he married the former Rita Coccia, who was the love of his live for over sixty-four years.
Charles is survived by his loving wife, Rita; his two sons, Dr. Jeff Francesco of Kannapolis, NC and Charles Francesco, III of East Herkimer; his daughter, Cynthia Francesco of Little Falls; and five beloved grandchildren, Courtney and Matthew and Andrew, David and Olivia Pickett. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Oberle of Herkimer; nephew, Frank Oberle of Mohawk; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Delahunt and her husband, Thomas, and their children, Tom Delahunt and Amy Delahunt-Myslinski; and several cousins.
A Mass of Remembrance will take place at a later date and time. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations to Hospice and Palliative Care, 4277 Middle Settlement Road, New Hartford, NY 13413.

Cheering for your favorite teams, each day: the NY Yankees, Notre Dame and the Colts, were your ritual, signifying your love for sports, your news program and a full scholarship to Cornell.
Dad, I will remember how much your love of family and faith in God, were the jewels of your life!
Rest in peace, Dad, knowing that we will all be together someday.
Embrace those motherly arms that longed and waited for you in heaven and may she hold her beautiful son in the palms of her hands.
