Cecilia Miller

Cecilia Fagan Miller, formerly of Herkimer, passed away Dec. 31, 2002, of complication from pneumonia. She attended local Herkimer schools and the College of New Rochelle. Cecilia spent her entire business career with the National Girl Scout Council. She and her husband, Fred, relocated to Hendersonville after she retired in 1981. She was actively involved with "Hip and Knee Hoppers" and Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church. Her sister, Mary Reiley of Mahwah, N.J., her nephew, Robert Reiley, and her nieces, Mary Reiley Viloni and Cecilia Fagan Polidori survive her. Her brother, F. Arthur Fagan, Esq. and her sister, Dr. Katharine Fagan, preceded her in death. A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2003, at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Hendersonville, N.C. Burial will be in Herkimer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pardee Center for Joint Replacement, Hip and Knee Hoppers, 224 Finley Cove Road, Hendersonville, N.C., 28739. Local arrangements are by Holleran-Enea Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer.
