Cecil Chandler

Cecil Fern Chandler, 68 of Lower Paradise Road, Little Falls, passed away on Friday February 17, 2006 at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown, NY. He was born September 16, 1937 in Cooperstown, NY the son of the late Cecil & Hilda (Bennett) Chandler and was educated in Middlefield School. His marriage to Dayle Yager took place on June 24, 1967 in Middlefield, NY. For 29 years until his retirement in 1996 Cecil worked at the Union Fork & Hoe Co. in Frankfort, NY. Mr. Chandler was of the Methodist Faith. With family as his foremost priority, Cecil proved himself as a loving and caring husband and father. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Dayle, a son Tony Chandler of Little Falls, 2 daughters, Teresa Chandler of Fort Plain, Tracy Rood and her husband Scott of Fort Plain, 2 brothers, Ernie Chandler of Florida, & Robert Chandler of New York , a sister, Shirley Walrath of Cooperstown, and several nieces & nephews. In keeping with Cecil?s wishes, a memorial service will be held on Saturday February 25, 2006 at 11:00 am at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville, NY. There are no calling hours.
