Catherine Rich

Catherine H. Rich, age 93, a lifelong Little Falls resident, entered into eternal rest on Thursday evening, September 8, 2005. She was born on November 24, 1911 in Little Falls a daughter of the late Morris and Mary (Balbo) Rich and attended St. Mary's Academy and was a graduate of the Utica School of Commerce. Her last employment was with the Puritan Clothing Store and was at one time employed by the Strand Clothing Store in Little Falls. She spent many years in the retail business and made many friends being in the public and will be dearly missed. She was a communicant of Holy Family Parish, Little Falls. Survivors include her sister: Elma Sodergren and husband Arvid of Little Falls, three nieces, one nephew and inlaws. She was predeceased by two sisters: Lucy Sadak and Inez Bove and by a brother: Morris Rich. Calling hours at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls will be on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2005 from 5-8 p.m. Catherine's funeral will commence at 10:00 am on Monday morning, Sept. 12, from the chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Anthony Ligato, pastor, officiating. Procession will follow to St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Herkimer where she will be laid to rest.
