IN LOVING MEMORY
LITTLE FALLS - Carol A. Widanka, 76, peacefully passed away at home on March 15th, 2026, in Little Falls, New York.
Born in Little Falls, she was the beloved daughter of the late Bogus and Ada (Zawtocki) Widanka, and was predeceased by her sister, Barbara Bonanni.
Carol was a woman who valued her privacy, simplicity, and a quiet life. A person of varied intellectual and leisure interests, she enjoyed the challenge of trivia, road trips to the southern states, listening to classic rock and sitting on the porch watching sunsets. She was also known to appreciate the art of conversation, often reaching out to those she held dear. She was the fun aunt with an adventurous spirit who was always there for dance recitals, baseball games, and Halloween pranks. Her nieces and nephew were her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them fishing, cooking, and sharing stories. She lived life with joy and generosity.
Carol dedicated herself later in life to the nursing profession, bringing care and compassion to those she served during her career.
Carol is survived by her loving sister, Elaine (Charles) Tipton, as well as four nieces, one nephew, and several cousins who will cherish her memory.
In keeping with Carol’s wishes, there will be no calling hours. She will be laid to rest at a graveside burial on July 16th, 2026, at 11:00 AM in St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Herkimer, New York.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you take a moment to enjoy a favorite song or call a friend in her memory.
She is forever in our hearts.
Arrangements are with The Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street in Little Falls, New York.
