ILION – Mrs. Carol Price, age 78, a longtime Ilion resident, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, December 20, 2022, at Little Falls Hospital.
Born in Windsor, Vermont on June 6, 1944, Carol was the daughter of the late Dean and Geraldine (Hill) Cole. Her childhood was spent in Downsville, NY before relocating with her family to Schenectady where she graduated from Mont Pleasant High School.
On June 25, 1966, Carol was married to Darrel L. Price in Bennington, Vermont, and together they shared in a blessed union of over forty-one years until Darrell’s passing on January 17, 2008. For many years, Carol was employed with Lu-Bere Corsetry, Inc. in Utica.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Cindy Yager and husband, Perley, of Ilion; by her three sons, Darrel C. Price and wife, Brenda, of Ilion, Kevin Jette and wife, Michelle, of Connecticut, and Scott Jette of Rome; by her sister, Pam Pritts; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and in-laws.
In keeping with Carol’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services. Her final arrangements have been entrusted to the Enea, Ciaccia & Applegate Funeral Directors. Online notes of sympathy may be left at www.eneafamily.com .
