Mrs. Bridgette Wanda Sicara 80 of 115 South Main Street Dolgeville, died Saturday September 17, 2005 in Little Falls Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Plymouth, Pa. on May 2, 1925 the daughter of Joseph and Bridgette (Owcarcz) Gluczkowski and was educated in schools there. Her marriage to John Sicara took place on November 11, 1942 in St. Mary?s Church in Plymouth, Pa. Mr. Sicara predeceased her on June 20, 1994. Wanda was employed by the former Daniel Green Shoe Company of Dolgeville in the fitting department until her retirement from there. She was a member of St. Josephs Church of Dolgeville, and personally enjoyed crocheting and reading. She is survived by A Son and his wife John and Bonnie Sicara of Dolgeville, Her Daughters Judy and her husband Robert Dodge of Dolgeville, Elaine Parrott of Liverpool, NY, a Sister and her husband Helen and Charles Josulevicz of Wilkes Bare, PA, her Grandchildren Jonathan and Joshua Parrott, Karen Dodge and her friend Lowell Youker and Michael and Amber Sicara, A Sister in Law Miss Ann Sicara of Dolgeville. A funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday September 20, 2005 at 11 AM in St. Joseph?s Church, Helmer Avenue Dolgeville. Rev. Leo F. Potvin will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Josephs Cemetery. Calling hours are on Monday from 4-7 PM at the Roberts & Enea Family Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville. Memorials in her name may be made to the Memorial Fund of St. Joseph?s Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. For directions to the funeral home, click the facilities link above.
