ILION - Mr. Brian Andrew Seelbach, age 60, of Herkimer, New York, passed away on June 6th, 2025, at Abraham House in Utica, after a brief illness.
Born on May 30, 1965, in Ilion, New York, Brian is the son of his parents, the late Robert and Rosalie (Miller) Seelbach. He was raised and educated locally and was employed by Herkimer County Highway Department. as a truck driver until his diagnosis of cancer. He belonged to American Legion in Herkimer NY. Brian had 2 sons, Brian, Jr., and Chandler; and stepchildren, Natasha, Dakota and Ryan.
Brian is survived by his son, Chandler Seelbach, and grandson Kayne and granddaughter Kianna. Also, brothers Harold (Karen) Seelbach of Mohawk, NY and Darrin (Carrie) Seelbach of Ilion, NY, sisters Donna (Derek) Edmonds of Tannersville, NY, Patricia (Thomas) Pias of College Station, TX and Michelle (Ron Niznik) Crane of Remsen, NY, and friend Tammy Seelbach, & many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Brian is preceded in death by children, Brian (Beezy) Seelbach, Jr. Parents Robert & Rosalie (Miller) Seelbach, siblings Robert, Daniel, Ellen Marie and Gregory Seelbach all the Mohawk Valley, sister-in-law Melissa (Woodcock) Seelbach and special friend Jess.
Family and Friends are all welcome to a graveside service on Friday July 25th, 2025, at 10:00am at Armory Hill Cemetery in Ilion, NY. And a celebration of life Friday the 25th after the Burial at 473 McGowan Road, Ilion, NY 13357. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers monetary donations can be made to Abraham house at 1203 Kemble St. Utica, NY 13502 or online at www.theabrahamhouse.org .
