Brenda O'Connor

Mrs. Brenda O'Connor (Rivenburgh) formerly of Ilion, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2026, at the age of 63, in Jamul, California.

Brenda was born in Oneida, NY on April 28, 1963, to William Rivenburgh Sr. and Evelyn Coniguliaro. She obtained her associates degree and spent many years working at Slocum Dickson as a Physical Therapist Assistant. On January 1, 2011, she married Kevin O'Connor. They shared four loving years together before his passing in 2015.

Brenda was a devoted mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. She loved gardening, fresh cut flowers, and spending time with her beloved grandchildren and family.

Brenda is survived by her daughters, Heather Rose (Jeremy), and Amy Rivenburgh (Maida), and her grandchildren, Caleb, Chloe and Claire, her brothers, William Rivenburgh Jr, and Dan Rivenburgh as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, William Rivenburgh Sr. and Evelyn Coniguliaro, her sister Judy Rivenburgh, and her husband Kevin O'Connor.

Family and friends are invited to a graveside service on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 11:00 am at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Frankfort where she will be laid to rest beside her husband. In keeping with Brenda's wishes there will be no calling hours. Brenda's family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Sharp HospiceCare in San Diego, California for their kindness and compassion during this difficult time.
