Brenda Lipe

HERKIMER-ILION ? Brenda E. Lipe, 60, of 441 N. Prospect St., Herkimer, died Saturday, March 29, 2008 at Little Falls Hospital. She was born on Oct. 8, 1947, in DuQuoin, Ill., the daughter of Everette and Jessie Lee (Davis) Lipe. At one time she was married to William Karageanis in New Hampshire. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Cheri and Jamie Grimshaw of Poland; her parents, Jessie Peterson of Virginia and Everette Lipe of Illinois; two sons, Richard and David Burnham; two grandchildren, Dale Rhoades and Amber Karageanis; one sister, Deanna of Virginia and several cousins. Memorial services will be held at noon on Saturday, April 5 at the Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Home, 102 West St., Ilion with Father Mark Cunningham, pastor of St. Francis deSales Church, officiating. Interment will be in Poland Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. to noon, prior to the service at the funeral home. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the Herkimer County Humane Society. Envelopes are available at the Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Home, Ilion.
