Brenda Lee Hurteau

FRANKFORT – Brenda Lee Hurteau, 57, of Railroad Street , Frankfort , NY , died on October 7, 2018.

She was born on May 18, 1961, in Herkimer , NY , a daughter of the late Clarence Guyer and Delores Austin Reel. She was educated in Herkimer schools. Brenda married James R. Hurteau on September 15, 2001 in Ilion , a blessed union of 17 years. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Michael Gushue. She was also predeceased by her brother, Clarence Guyer, Jr.; and sister-in-law, Sheila.

She is survived by her husband, James R. Hurteau; her sister, Linda Guyer; her brothers, Marty Austin and Raymond Guyer; her mother – in – law, Sandra Hurteau; her grandchildren, Jaden, Scotty, Thayne, Corbin, Mikayla, Kaden and Kaydence; her stepchildren, Ashley Hurteau and fiancé, Shawn Yeoman, Melissa Wameling and Dan Wameling; several sisters and brothers- in – law; and nieces and nephews.

All services have been arranged with The Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road (Town of Frankfort ), Ilion , NY . There will be a final committal service at North Columbia Cemetery at the convenience of the family.  We would like to extend a very special thanks to all who have helped us during this very difficult time.
