Beverly (Gleed) DeRocco, age 80, formerly of Ilion and Mohawk, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 2, 2016, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica.
She was born on December 27, 1935, in Mohawk, the daughter of Harry and Minnie (Gay) Gleed, and attended Mohawk schools. In September, 1957, she was married to James A. DeRocco in Ilion. He died in September 1987.
Surviving family members include her daughter, Pamela Lindsay and her husband, Kenneth, of Frankfort; four nieces, Patty Sitterly, Beth Wood, and Jennifer and Sarah Gleed.
She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Robert Gleed.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Graveside Committal Prayer Service at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 8, 2016, at Mohawk Cemetery, Columbia St., Mohawk, NY. There are no scheduled calling hours.
