Bernard Seeley

Bernard R. Seeley, 78 of 510 State Highway 67, St. Johnsville passed away on Tuesday February 28, 2006 at Little Falls Hospital. He was born July 9, 1927 in Little Falls the son of the late William & Hazel (Myers) Seeley and was educated in Little Falls Schools. His marriage to Ivy Marie Barclay took place on September 25, 1948 in Gloversville. The couple shared a blessed union of 29 years until the passing of Mrs. Seeley on July 3, 1978. Mr. Seeley was owner & operator of the Seeley Farm in St. Johnsville. Bernard was a life member and honorary trustee of the Palatine Settlement Society and a member of the Saratoga National Buttle Museum. Survivors include his sons, David W. Seeley and his wife Mary Jane of St. Johnsville, & Martin R. Seeley and his wife Candice of St. Johnsville, his daughter, Barbara J. Seeley of Canajoharie, a brother Gordon Seeley and his wife Ora of Stratford, a sister Idella Benson of Little Falls, 2 grandchildren, Theresa Clark and her husband Joel of New Hampshire, & Scott Seeley of St. Johnsville, 2 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. He was pre-deceased by 2 sisters & 1 brother. Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 4, 2006 at 11:00 am from the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville, NY. Spring interment will be in St. Johnsville Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Friday March 3, 2006 from 6-9 pm.
