Bernard J. "Billy" Angelicchio

HERKIMER: Bernard Joseph "Billy" Angelicchio, 59, a lifelong Herkimer resident, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 29, 2015.
Born in Herkimer on April 21, 1956, Billy was the son of the late Bernard and Josephine (Polizzi) Angelicchio. Raised and educated locally, he was a Herkimer High School graduate and continued his education at SUNY Oswego. Billy was an avid sports fan and had a passion for the game of golf. He will be remembered by his family and friends for the time he spent reminiscing about the “old times growing up on the Southside of Herkimer”. His favorite was a good cup of Stewart’s coffee.
He is survived by his son, Joseph Angelicchio of Virginia; a brother, Anthony Angelicchio of Las Vegas, NV; a sister, Maria Barberio and husband Greg of Elkhart, IN; nephews, Gregory and Jay Barberio, Anthony and Michael Angelicchio; aunts, uncles and many cousins. He was predeceased by his parents.
There will be no public calling hours. Burial will take place privately at Calvary Cemetery, Herkimer at the convenience of the family.
