Barbara Hulbert

FORT PLAIN - Barbara Hulbert, age 55, of River Road, Fort Plain, New York, passed away on August 5th, 2026, at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown, New York, always in the hearts of those who loved her so dearly. 

She was born on August 13th, 1970, in Little Falls, New York, a daughter to Lawrence and Caroline (Gallt) Hulbert. She was a graduate of St. Johnsville High School and enjoyed crafting and spending time with her family. 

She is survived by her parents, Larry and Caroline, her son, Alex Hulbert, her daughters, Gabrielle Hulbert and Jaida Hulbert, her sister and her best friend all in one, Brandy Chromczak (Peter Battisti), and her brother Edward Hulbert (Becky Hulbert). 

She was predeceased by her father's parents, Mayona Christman (Louis Christman), and Addison Hulbert (Ruth Hulbert), and her mother's parents, Charles Gallt (Leta Gallt). 

Funeral services will be held on Monday August 17th, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Freysbush Cemetery, 620 Freysbush Road, Fort Plain, New York, and this graveside service will be celebrated by Rev. Michael Torres. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. There are no calling hours.
