Ilion: Mrs. Barbara J. Harris, 64, passed away in Mohawk Valley Healthcare Center on Friday, November 1, 2013.
Barbara was born on January 11, 1949 in Little Falls, a daughter of the late Harold and Irene (Grassel) MacRorie. She received her education in the Little Falls School District. Her last employment was with Salada Foods, also in Little Falls. Barbara and Donald "Butch" Harris were married on June 24, 1978, and shared a loving and devoted union of 27 years until his passing on June 26, 2005.
Her loving family survives her: daughters, Sara Harris of Mohawk, Shelly Vanyo of PA, and Mari Jo Atkinson of Oswego, and a son Larre Harris of Mohawk, along with many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her husband, Butch; parents, Harold and Irene; and a sister, Carol Snell, predeceased her.
The Reverend Dr. Steven A. Scarcia, Rector of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Little Falls, will conduct Barbara's funeral service at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 7, 2013 AM at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe Street, Little Falls. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects from 10:00 AM until the start of the service. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Little Falls American Legion after the funeral.
