Austriverta Arroyo

SCHUYLER – Ms. Austriverta Arroyo, age 81, of Schuyler, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 24, 2016 in the privacy and comfort of her home. At the time of her passing she was surrounded by the love and support of her dedicated family at her bedside.
Born on February 10, 1935 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Austriverta was the daughter of the late Angel and Augustina (Vidarte) Arroyo. She dedicated her life to raising her family and always put their needs before her own. She will be dearly missed.
She leaves her daughters, Hilda Ramos of Schuyler and Myrna Rodriguez of Massachusetts; her sons, Jose L. Rodriguez of New York City, Jose Antonio Rodriguez of North Carolina and Leonel Rodriguez of New York City. She also leaves eleven grandchildren, with special mention of Govany and Yaritza; many great-grandchildren, and her sister, Marta Narvaez of New York City.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 10AM-11AM on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from the Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 North Washington Street, Herkimer, NY. Austriverta’s funeral service and Celebration of Life will commence at 11AM from the funeral home, immediately upon the conclusion of visitation, with Pastor Ethan Geary officiating. Burial will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery in Herkimer.
