ROME – Mr. Austin J. Bartlett, Jr., 47, a current resident of Little Falls, New York, passed away suddenly and peacefully at his home, on August 7, 2024, as a result of natural causes.
He was born on October 25,1976, in Rome, New York, a son of the late Austin J., Sr. and Gloria May Trachsel Bartlett. Austin was disabled, but enjoyed music, movies, singing, playing his guitar, drawing and writing poetry. He was of the Christian faith.
Surviving relatives include his children, Amanda Mauldin (Mother, Kathleen Mauldin) and Justin Bruce (Mother, Christina Bruce Roberts); his sisters, Shirley Burke and Laurie O’Neil; his nieces, Jessica Burke, Heather Burke, Sarah Jaczynski and Shelby O’Neil; his nephew, Andrew Burke; and his great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Gloria & Austin, Sr.
Services consisting of a calling hour will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to Noon, at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 North Washington Street, Herkimer. Family and friends are invited at this time to celebrate Austin’s life.
Austin’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to friends, Enea, Ciaccia & Applegate Funeral Directors (315) 866-1011.
