Ascenith Corbine

ILION - Ascenith ?Cindy? Corbine, age 79, formerly of Lillian Paul?s Family Care Home, 190 E. Main St., Ilion, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2010, at Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing Home, Little Falls, NY.



She was born on April 16, 1931, in Albany, NY, the daughter of Floyd and Lisa Van Buren. In 1975 Cindy was married to Walter M. Corbine in Herkimer. He died on January 20, 1994. At one time, she was a client at Rome DDSO Family Care. Cindy was also a colony girl.



Cindy is survived by her friends, including Ruth Hall, of Ilion, and her children, Stephanie Johnson, of Little Falls, Josh Hall, of Frankfort, and Paul Hall, of Boston. She was predeceased by her friend, Lillian Paul.



Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, October 16, 2010, at the Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Rd., Ilion. Burial will be in Armory Hill Cemetery, Ilion. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 16, 2010, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., prior to the funeral home service.
