Arthur W. Muller

Mr. Arthur W. Muller, age 91, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, October 19, 2026, in the comfort of his home.

Arthur was born in Mineola, Long Island on November 20, 1934. The son of the late Arthur R. and Beatrice Muller (Faurot). On October 22, 1960, Arthur married the former Phyllis E. Eberlein at the Mohawk Methodist Church. At one time, Arthur served in the Army National Guard as a 2nd Lieutenant. Arthur obtained his master's degree and dedicated his life to teaching others, he spent many years as a professor at Herkimer County Community College.

Arthur was very dedicated to his faith, he was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Little Falls, The Gideons, he served on the board of Care Net, the Sacandaga Bible Conference. Outside of his faith, Arthur enjoyed traveling, waterskiing, snowshoeing and canoeing.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Phyllis E. Muller, his daughters, Julie Handy and her husband Dean, Lori Muller and her husband Peter and his son Douglas Muller and his wife Pauline, as well as 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren who he cherished greatly. He was predeceased by his parents, as well as his son, Jeffrey A. Muller who passed away in 1986.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 11:00am - 12:30pm, at the First Baptist Church, 555 Albany St, Little Falls, NY 13365. A church service will begin at 12:30pm officiated by Pastor Chris Wintermute. A funeral procession will then take place to Rural Park Cemetery where Arthur's earthly remains will be laid to rest.

In lieu of flowers, Arthur's family asks that you may consider a donation to the Mohawk Valley Christian Academy or the Willow Network in his memory.
