Anthony Potoczny

Anthony Potoczny, age 68 of 327 6th Street Saddle Brook, New Jersey died Friday September 2nd, 2005 at his home. Anthony was born in Kniarzyce, Poland, on June 13, 1937 the son of Alojzy and Stefania (Czepiel) Potoczny and came to this country as a young boy. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force; he served at the radar station on Montauk Point, Long Island with the 773 Radar Squadron ADC for several years. He was honorably discharged in 1970 with the rank of SSGT. His awards included National defense service Medal, Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster to the Air Force Good Conduct Medal, Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon with 1 Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster, and the Air Force Good Conduct medal. He was employed by ITT Corporation of Clifton, New Jersey as a mechanic for several years. Anthony would enjoy visiting his parents and brother on the family farm in Oppenheim throughout the years. He is survived by his Daughters and their husbands Elizabeth and William Harasymow of Bloomingdale, N.J., and Grace and John Ruckstuhl of Pequannock, New Jersey, A Brother Edward Potoczny of Dolgeville, his grandchildren Alex, William Jr. and John, a Nephew Terry Potoczny. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Joseph?s Church in Dolgeville on Tuesday September 6th, 2005 by Rev. Leo F. Potvin, Pastor. Burial was in the family plot in St. Josephs? Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Roberts & Enea Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville.
