Anthony C. Colangelo

 Anthony C. Colangelo, passed away peacefully on August 12th, 2026, at Foltsbrook Nursing Home at the age of 83.

He was born on October 8th, 1942, in Bronxville, New York, one of four children of the late Angelina (Lamanna) and Generoso (Jerry) Colangelo. An otherwise lifelong resident of Little Falls, Anthony lived for his sports-especially Little Falls Mounties Basketball.

During a recent reflection, he stated: “I had a pretty good life-I graduated college, married a great girl, had a family and enough money to pursue my passions.” What more can you say…

He is survived by his son, Stephen (Lisa); grandson, Seth; great-grandson, Walker, and sister Jean. He was predeceased by his wife Jacqueline (Lewis), daughter (Kristin Lynne), sister Mary (LaValla) and brother Joe.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 19th, 2026, at 11:00 AM at The Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street, Little Falls, New York, a Roman Catholic funeral prayer service. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, town of Herkimer.

Calling hours at the funeral home are Wednesday morning, prior to the funeral service from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM. Family and friends are invited to attend as well as the graveside service to follow.

The family extends their gratitude to the first-floor staff at Foltsbrook for the compassionate care and comfort they provided to Tony.
