Anna Bauer

FORT PLAIN-Anna M. Bauer, 89 of South Saint Johnsville Rd. entered into eternal rest on October 1, 2008 at Bassett Health Care in Cooperstown. She was born March 13,1919 in St. Johnsville, daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Kardash) Polinsky. On December 2, 1944 she was joined in marriage with Carlton Bauer at St. Patricks R.C. Church in St. Johnsville. She was employed at L.F. Footwear. She enjoyed bingo; but most of her time was spent taking care of her family and the entire neighborhood. Survivors include her 2 sons: Michael of St. Johnsville and Frank of Fort Plain and her daughter Mary Ann Oldick and her husband Ralph of Fort Plain; her 7 grandchildren and her 9 Great Grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her husband Carlton,her son James; her brothers Michael Polinsky and Joseph Polinsky; her sisters Gladys Patruska and Helen Kalinowski; and her Great grandson Jeremiah McArthur. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick's R.C. Church in St. Johnsville on Monday October 6, 2008 at 11:30am. Procession will follow to St. Johnsville Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
