Ann Gibbs

Ann M. Gibbs, 62, of 512 Park Ave., Herkimer passed away Thursday evening, Jan. 16, 2003, at Little Falls Hospital. Ann was born Nov. 24, 1940, in Troy, a daughter of the late Robert and Rose (Gallagher) Gibbs. She was last employed by the Herkimer Memorial Hospital. She was of the Catholic faith. Ann truly enjoyed participating in the activities with the Ronnie Smith Fan Club. Survivors include many dear friends, including Kathy Farrone, a very special friend throughout her life and other friends, Gloria Fryer, Denise Brown, Colleen Griffin, Wayne Woods and Mary Rose Zogby, all of Herkimer. Also surviving is a sister, Joann Pauza of Newburg. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Gibbs. Visitation at the Holleran-Enea Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer will be held Sunday, Jan. 19, from 1-3:30 p.m. Ann's funeral will commence Sunday afternoon at 3:30 from the chapel of the funeral home. She will be laid to rest this spring in Oak Hill Cemetery, Herkimer, at a time to be announced. Kindly consider honoring Ann's memory with donations to the Arthritis Foundation or to HARC.
