FORT PLAIN - Ann Elizabeth Bouton Durller passed away in the comfort of her beautiful home, in Fort Plain, NY, on Thursday, July 7, 2022.
She was born May 24, 1932, in Sunset NY, to Madiline Gurdineer Bouton and Harold Napier Bouton. Ann was very close with her siblings: Harold, Richard, Ellen and Madelyn, all who blessed her with seventeen nieces and nephews. Ann married Joseph William Durller, in 1950 and they celebrated 59 years together.
Ann is survived by 3 daughters: Elizabeth, Linda and Jo-Ann; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Ann was a multimedia artist and award-winning quilter, as well as a life-long practicing Episcopalian.
There will be a Memorial Service held, at the Church of the Good Shepard, 26 Moyer St., in Canajoharie, NY, at 4:00 p.m., on Thursday, July 14, 2022, with Reverend Ginny Ogden, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the Ayres Memorial Animal Shelter, 133 Hilltop Road, Sprakers, NY 12166.
Ann’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville, NY, Funeral Directors Harry J. Enea, Jr., Kevin E. Enea and Martin L. Ciaccia (518-568-2300).
