Angelina Marian Perri, 89, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2026, at Little Falls Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family.
Angelina was born on September 6, 1936, in Dolgeville, New York, the daughter of the late Anthony Antonucci and Antonette Musella Antonucci. She lived in Dolgeville for most of her life before relocating to Frankfort, New York, in 2011.
On April 29, 1967, Angelina married Philip Digilio, with whom she shared many cherished years until his passing in August 1996. On October 8, 2011, she married Daniel Perri Sr. (deceased January 2022), beginning another special chapter in her life.
Above all, Angelina was a woman of steadfast faith and great love for her family. She was a faithful member of Little Falls Assembly of God Church, where she served as treasurer for many years. Her relationship with the Lord was at the center of her life, and her Bible was never far from her side. One of her favorite passages of Scripture was Isaiah 40:31: “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.”
Angelina had a generous heart and a beautiful way of making people feel like family. She loved cooking, knitting, music, reading her Bible, and spending time with those she loved. The children she cared for held an especially dear place in her heart. She welcomed each one with love and treated them as part of her own family.
She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, devotion to her family, and faith. Angelina loved deeply, not only her family, but the many people she welcomed into her life and heart over the years.
Angelina is survived by her daughters Angela Smith and her husband, Eric Smith, of Ohio, and Antonette Digilio of Frankfort, New York. Daniel Perri Sr.’s two children, Daniel Perri Jr. and Judy Perri, who both reside in New Jersey; her beloved granddaughters, Hailey Lynn Smith and Brianna Elise Smith; her nieces and nephews; and her siblings, Louis Antonucci, Marietta Pileggi (deceased), and RoseMarie Parisi.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Antonette Antonucci, her first husband, Philip Digilio and second husband Daniel Perri Sr.
Angelina’s life touched the hearts of all who knew and loved her. With God’s strength, her family and friends will carry forward the beautiful legacy of love and faith she so faithfully lived and shared.
