LITTLE FALLS - Angie Mleczkowski, age 96 of Little Falls died on Friday morning November 28, 2014.
She was born on June 2, 1918 in Little Falls, daughter of the late Frank and Amelia (Iorio) Olivieri and was educated locally. She was married to Edward Mleczkowski who passed away on April 10, 1970. For many years Angie had worked as a seamstress having retired from the P & K Dress Factory. Angie was of the Catholic faith and for many years had attended St. Joseph's Church. She was a member of the Holy Family Parish and had served as a member of the Rosary Society.
She is survived by her children, Edward J. Mleczkowski of Little Falls, Anita Dulak and her husband Jim of Little Falls, and Marie Marrone and her husband Terry of Little Falls, three grandchildren, Ryan, Beth and husband Ronny, and Jenna, and several nieces and nephews in the Syracuse area. She was predeceased by her sisters Sue Pontecorvi and Maria Olivieri.
The family has planned a private family funeral with Harry J. & Kevin E. Enea, Funeral Directors of the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street, Little Falls, NY (315) 823-2424. Interment has been arranged at St. Mary's Cemetery, Town of Herkimer. Donations in memory of Angie may be considered to either HALO, 615 Albany St., Little Falls, NY 13365, or the Herkimer County Humane Society, P.O. Box 73, Mohawk, NY 13407.
