Mr. Andrew R. Covuoto 93 a resident of the St. Johnsville Nursing Home since April 2009, and former resident at 73 South Helmer Avenue Dolgeville, died Tuesday November 6, 2012 at the nursing home.



He was born in Dolgeville on June 12, 1919 the son of the late John and Angelina (Politi) Covuoto and was educated in Dolgeville schools.



His marriage to the former Mary Elizabeth Bogerd took place on April 12, 1941 in Dolgeville. Mrs. Covuoto predeceased him on February 7, 2005.



A veteran of WW II he served honorably in the United States Army from 1942-1945.



Andy was employed by Local Union #35 of Utica for many years.



He is survived by a son and his wife Richard & Barbara Covuoto of Delmar, New York a Daughter and her companion Caryn Riesel and Flint Davis of Little Falls, A Sister Rose Darling, and his grandchildren and great grandchildren, Carrie Timmerman Kane and her husband Michael and their children Chad and Noah, Julia Riesel Murray and her husband Frank and their children Stephen, Jordanna and Adrienna, Jessica Riesel and fiance´' Peter Claus and children Alanna and Lucas, Jennifer Riesel and son Owen, Olivia Davis , Michael Covuoto and daughter Naomi. He was predeceased by a brothers Vincent and John, his sisters Chancey Miller, Sophie Franchino, Josephine (Honey) Cooney, Mary Loccia and Lucy Enea.



Graveside memorial service will be held Wednesday November 14th, 2012 at 10 AM in the Dolgeville Cemetery. There are no calling hours per his request
