Amy C. Simonsen

Amy C. Simonsen 62 of Gloversville, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at the Cooperstown Center where she had been a patient for about 2 ½ years.

Amy was born in St. Johns Hospital, Yonkers on October 12, 1962, the daughter of Norman Simonsen and the former Maria McCormack.

Amy enjoyed coloring, playing Rummy every Sunday afternoon and BINGO where she won a lot as she was very lucky.

Amy is survived by her loving family, her mother, Maria Dingman, Cherry Valley; her children, Maria St. Andrews, Troy; Jacqueline St. Andrews, Amsterdam; Grace St. Andrews, NY; and Floyd Eggleston, Gloversville; brothers, Norman Simonsen, Louisiana; Eric Simonsen, Sharon Springs; 7 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Norman Simonsen and a brother Kenneth Shawn.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with Enea Ciaccia Funeral Directors at Enea Family Funeral Homes, 9 Center St. St. Johnsville, NY.
