Allen "Al" Robert Cotton

COLUMBIA CENTER – Allen Robert Cotton, age 78, of Cana, VA, formerly of Columbia Center, NY, passed away on August 4, 2018, at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home, in Dobson, NC. He was born on January 31, 1940, in Herkimer, the son of Robert and Florence (Strong) Cotton. Surviving family members include his daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Robert Hotaling; his sons, Scott Cotton (Mallory) and Brian Cotton; eight grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Nancy Cotton and Carl and Janet Cotton; his sister, Cindy Cotton; his sister-in-law, Kay Cotton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his mother and father; his wife, Sally (Darrow) Cotton; and later, his wife, Patricia (Bradle) Cotton; his brother, Kenneth Cotton; his sister-in-law, Mary Jackson; and his grandson, Chad Cotton.
