Ilion: Alice L. Vedder, age 81, of Prindle Apartments, Ilion, and a lifelong area resident, passed away in Little Falls Hospital on Wednesday, November 20, 2013.
She was born on January 28, 1932 in Ilion, a daughter of the late Earl William and Luci Jane (Bullock) Bean. Alice was educated in Ilion schools and attended the Utica School of Beauty Culture. She was self employed as a hair dresser at Lucille's Beauty on Barringer Road, Ilion. Alice was a member of the Methodist Church in Ilion.
Alice leaves many special friends and acquaintances within the community and at Prindle apartments in Ilion, where she comfortably resided.
The Reverend Robert Wollaber of Morningstar Ministries, Ilion, will conduct her memorial service at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 25, 2013 in the community room at Prindle Apartments.
