MOHAWK: Alice M. Jablonski, age 91, a long time Mohawk resident, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare.



Alice was born in Canastota, NY on January 9, 1921, the daughter of the late Ralph and Theresa (Austin) Davis. She was educated and graduated from the Utica School District. In 1938, she was united in marriage to Chester Jablonski who predeceased her.



Alice was employed for many years as a waitress at Lynch's Restaurant in Herkimer and later worked for the Folts Home in the dietary department.



During her spare time, she enjoyed the library, reading and going to the movies. Alice considered her family to be the most important part of her life; caring for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She adored her family.



Alice is survived by her sons, Harold and wife Judy of Palm Harbor, Fl, Roger and wife Joanne of Frankfort; her daughters, Judith LeClair and husband Tim of Clockville, NY, June Scott and husband David of Herkimer; 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and a brother, Harold Davis and wife Virginia of Mohawk.



She was predeceased by a brother, Richard Davis and a sister, Geraldine Schmigal.



Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 3, 2012 at 4 PM at the Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Rd., (Town of Frankfort) Ilion, NY. Interment will take place in Fairview Cemetery, Little Falls in the spring.



Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 2:00-4:00 PM on Friday, February, 3, 2012 at the funeral home.



The family is being cared for by Harry J. Enea, Funeral Director.
