Albert "Harry" Raux

WEST WINFIELD – Albert H. Raux, lovingly known as “Harry”, passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 26, 2024, in the privacy and comfort of his home. He was 65 years old.

Born in Herkimer, NY on July 8, 1959, Harry was the son of the late Donald and Jeannette Trask. For many years, Harry was employed by Mark Aloisio as a janitor.

Although Harry faced many health issues through the years, his unexpected passing occurred at home, which is where he would have wanted to be. His family and friends supported him through it all and he loved them all very much.

Harry was well known as an outgoing, outspoken and well-loved man. He had a soft spot for animals and children alike. He had an amazing support system and enjoyed his time spent at The Grand Day Program where he made many friends.

He is survived by his brother, Francis “Fran” Raux; and his children, Angel Croniser and spouse, Jeffrey Benjamin, Michael Raux and spouse, D’shaundi (Lasagna), Joseph Raux and his spouse, Mirissa Covey, Albert Croniser (June), Rosetta Smith, Samantha Roher, Abner Rosbrook, Albert Smith, Trista Hungerford and spouse, Richard Hungerford, Scott Freeman and John Wood.

He also leaves his grandchildren, Nevaeh Croniser, Halo Croniser, Brayden Raux, Shianne Croniser, Blake Slack, Preston Slack, Bryan Brownrigg, Katelynn Smith, Franklin Smith, Zachary Smith, Rebeckah Tittle, Bowen Roher, Aedyn Roher, Aiden Leonard, Richard Hungerford, Jr., Aubriella Hungerford and many more; and his great-grandchildren, Amaryllis Dolly and Kyrie Johnson.

Further surviving Harry are his nieces and nephews, Jessica Raux, Francis Raux, Jr., Jennifer Vernon, Donald Quick, Jeannette Quick, Erica Klotz and Frederick Quick, Jr.; family members, Dale Hayes and Ronnie Raux; and his special friends, Florence Fox, Kathy Saadi and spouse, John Lemche, Jennifer Zabry, Rebecca Zabry, Steven Guyer and spouse, Brittney Guyer, and Neil Failing, Sr.; along with many cherished close friend and extended family.

Harry was predeceased by his mother, Jeannette Trask, and stepfather, Donald Trask; his son, Glen Rosbrook; his uncle Harry and aunt, Joan Raux; brother, Frederick A. Quick; good friend, Thomas F. Hyla, III; good friend, Kyle Everson; and his grandson, Jordan Burke.


A gathering will take place on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 2:00PM – 3:00PM at the Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, Town of Frankfort, Ilion, NY (315) 894-8000. Harry’s funeral service will commence at 3:00PM at the funeral home. All are invited to attend.
